Appaloosa - Appaloosa (1969) 320Kbps

Comenzamos diciembre con este genial cuarteto musical formado por John Compton (guitarra acústica y voz), Robin Batteau (violín), Eugene Rosov (cello) y David Reiser (bajo), que en 1969 entrarían por primera vez en un estudio bajo la supervisión e influencia del genial Al Kooper para grabar este exquisito e inusual disco de folk barroco. La banda estuvo acompañada durante las sesiones de grabación por músicos del más alto nivel, entre los que se incluyen miembros de Blood, Sweat & Tears como Bobby Colomby y Fred Lipsius o incluso el propio Al Kooper.
La extraordinaria compenetración y cooperación de los músicos involucrados y la belleza de las composiciones, son dos de las muchas virtudes de este recomendadísimo disco.
